Rocco D'Amore is a smooth-as-silk Italian love-god whose Drag King performances channel the essence of European masculinity.
Originating from Sydney Australia, Rocco began performing as a Drag King dancer & solo artist 8 years ago in various clubs & events, turning heads across Australia & overseas.
After wowing Melbourne audiences, Rocco made a permanent move to that city but still travels regularly around the country spreading his bent amore.
Performance highlights include Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras, Midsumma Festival Melbourne, Bob Downes Retro Bar, Drag: Camp as Christmas the Studio, Sydney Opera House, Sex in the Studio Queer Cabaret at Gasworks Melbourne, the DIVA Awards Sydney, Rainbow Awards Melbourne, Arcilesbica Italian Variety Bent Dance Melbourne, United We Dance Multicultural Gay & Lesbian Dance Melbourne, Sydney’s BDO and most recently starring alongside George Michael at the 2010 Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Party.
Rocco’s tall, dark & handsome looks have graced the covers & centerfold of SLIT Magazine, Cherrie Magazine & Q Magazine. He was the 1970’s Gay Clone on the cover of Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Official Festival Guide 2010.
